Chocolate Tasting & mayan Presentation

4.Chocolate Tasting & mayan Presentation

★★★★★★★★★★4.5 · 20 reviews · 4 hours (approx.) · from $82

Start at La Monina at 10:30 a.m. with Mexican coffee and cacao samples, then make a chocolate bar, visit a Mayan village, taste tequila, and eat tacos. Guides such as Adolfo, Memo, Guillermo, and Nancy bring the stops to life, though timing can matter for cruise passengers.

“Adolfo was friendly and informative. He did a great job. I would say the car AC was not working but not a big deal. The tequila tasting felt like a really artificial experience. I think they built everything there and it wasn’t authentic. The chocolate making made everything worth it. Nancy was so sweet and patient.”
