“Our group of 5 was provided a private tour of the island as well as taking us to the Monkey & Slough Reserve, Rum tasting, and the chocolate factory. Our driver, Alfredo, also took us to a great place for lunch. He was very accommodating. Two of our party required scooters and he took extra care in providing for their needs. He also allowed us to shop in the local shops as long as we wanted and then delivered us back to the ship drop off. We all had a great time.”

“This is how to experience Roatan! It was so great. Personal guide for everything. We came on a cruise ship and this was SO much better value than the ship excursions. Picked up in our personal van. Taken to the zip line. Handed off directly to our zip line guides. They were so cool as well. We had our 14 month baby with us and she was able to go on the zip lines as well as our 5 year old. She was of course in a harness and attached to us. This was an incredible and fun surprise. The interaction with the animals was great! The rum tasting was…”

We went to a cool beach w/ a great vibe and bar and a nice gift shop w/ decent prices. Then we asked for a good place to eat lunch w/ local food and we were taken to what was tourist trap, they did serve iguana, but the food was not very good, rice beans we dry and cold. It was also 15 a plate for not much.I think the guides…”

Then off to the chocolate factory. That was great, but the true gem is the recycled/ handmade shop across the way. Josh took our pictures, He helped carry our bags and He answered our 1000 questions about his culture happily. We went to see sloths and monkeys as well as tasted some delicious rum/ rum cakes. Then ended the evening with drinks at a bar and grill on the most beautiful beach.…”

Emerson was very patient and kind. He gave a lesson about the land and history (we asked). Emerson was beyond patient with my friend and myself. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. The tour felt more like we were with a trusted friend than a tour guide. Emerson definitely made this trip the best port that we stopped at. I definitely will look for him when I come back to Roatan.”
